A NEW SCHOOL PARADIGM FOR OUR NEXT GENERATIONS

Paideia is one of the internal agencies of the World Health Board established to deal exclusively with education, pedagogy and training.
The method applied in the networks connected to Paideia and New Scholastica, internal agencies of the WHB under the direction of ABL&WE (Association for a Better Living & Wellness Education), is structured taking inspiration from different philosophies…nothing is in conflict with anything else…
CHILDREN AND EDUCATION
A child’s kindness and love are preserved only as long as he has the possibility to exercise his own self-determinism…if you limit or interrupt this possibility…you interrupt his life.
There are only two reasons why a child’s right to decide for himself should be interrupted…the fragility and dangerousness of his environment and adults…because adults place on him the same things that were done to them…whatever you can think of…
First of all a child needs security. Part of that security is understanding, part is a code of conduct that is invariable: What is against the law today cannot be ignored tomorrow…
An adult has certain rights over children that children and adults today tend to ignore…Adults have rights…children must know that.
A child has the goal of growing up…If an adult no longer has rights…why would he want to grow up?
A child has a duty to adults…He must be able to take care of them…not by deluding him that he is…but in reality. And you must have patience to allow yourself to be cared for in a sloppy way until the child…by pure experience, not by our instructions, learns to do it well.
Taking care of the child? It makes no sense! Probably, compared to you, he has a better understanding of immediate situations. Only when he is almost psychotic because of aberration, a child will be prone to accidents, but we can intervene so that he becomes free from various conditionings. We are well and enjoy life only when we are not owned by anyone...
A good and stable adult...with a lot of love and tolerance in his heart is the best therapy a child can have.
The main consideration in raising children is the problem of forming them without "breaking" them...without de-forming them...
THE WHB-PAIDEIA PEDAGOGY
Prof. Valerio Sanfo, Director of Education at Paideia, has granted WHB the dissemination of his pedagogical method, the "Pedagogy of Nature - the child and the green", an invitation to bring the school out of the school so as not to lose sight of life and its complexity, so as not to confuse the world with its representations.
A spontaneous natural environment such as an uncultivated meadow... a forest... a pond... presents itself with a network of connections... with an infinite number of schemes and study models that embrace all the sciences... proposing an encyclopedic knowledge...
It is starting from the observation of nature that we can understand the meanings of freedom... necessity and hierarchy... Nature is intelligent and never does anything to its detriment...
The school must also have an impact as a means of teaching moral and ethical values, not just academic ones.
The natural environment must be conceived as an open system from which it is possible, through direct relationship, to understand the functioning of the laws that involve not only the natural world but also every manifestation of human culture.
WHB-PAI PEDAGOGICAL GOALS
- Simplify teaching.
- Train multidisciplinary teachers.
- Establish an exchange network between schools.
- Facilitate learning through a predominantly playful approach.
- Eliminate or drastically reduce study based on reiteration and forced memorization. Incidental learning will prevail over guided learning.
- Carry out teaching activities outdoors as much as possible, with a prevalence in the external spaces of the school building; classrooms will become support spaces and places for carrying out some tests.
- Greater freedom of movement to the advantage of motor skills, with a decrease in physical and psychological coercive states.
- Spread the morality of responsibility.
- Promote solidarity between individuals.
- Participation in environmental protection.
- Understand the hierarchies and priorities that surround us.
- Activate new mental patterns.
- Offer children the opportunity to participate in school decisions.
- Involve parents and relatives.
- Open facilities to the public.
- Reclaim schoolyards and surrounding spaces.
- Use the urban and school environment.
- Reevaluate the urban ecosystem.
